DESCRIPTION:ElmThree presents God Street Wine.  After almost a decade apart\, GSW reunited privately in 2009 to honor the passing of an old friend and a year later played four concerts in NYC benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Infrequent but memorable gatherings continued at Bob Weir’s TRI Studios\, Sweetwater Music Hall\, rambles with Phil Lesh at Terrapin Crossroads and Jam Cruise. In 2013 they released a 25th anniversary box set retrospective and the documentary filmAll The Way To Here. Several years later the band ‑ now spread out across the globe in New York\, New Orleans and Berlin ‑ started collaborating on new studio tracks which led to eight new single releases in 2017-18 and the full length album This Fine Town in 2019. \nAfter eight shows in summer 2019\, other projects and commitments brought the band to another hiatus – a break that ended up longer than expected due to the Covid pandemic. After four years apart\, GSW got together again in 2023 with two New York area shows to benefit MS4MS (Mission Stadiums for Multiple Sclerosis). \n2024 brings more activity for GSW! On top of marking the 30th anniversary of the band’s 1st major label release\, $1.99 Romances\, and digitally releasing the long-lost Hot Sweet & Juicy\, the band is also releasing 3 albums from their catalog (Bag\, $1.99 Romances\, Hot Sweet & Juicy) on vinyl for the first time. This will all culminate with the original fivesome performing together again with four New York area shows!

The original\nmembers played on hundreds of recording sessions before forming the band in 1964. Backing\nmost of the vocalists in Jamaica at that time\, including Bob Marley\, Toots and The Maytals\,\nJimmy Cliff\, Alton Ellis\, Ken Boothe and many more The Skatalites secured their place in history\nearly on. After disbanding in 1965 the individual members continued playing in various groups\nas the music evolved from ska to rocksteady to reggae.\n\nIn the late 70’s a resurgence of interest in the music began in the U.K. which caused the\ncreation of many bands such as The Specials\, The English Beat\, Madness\, The Selecter and Bad\nManners. This became known as the “Two-Tone era” and these British musicians fused rock\nmusic with the ska and reggae. In The early 80’s the music started to spread to the U.S.A and\nother parts of the world. Bands began to emerge all over the globe playing different flavors of\nska and reggae fused with whatever else they wanted to throw in\, including hard core\, jazz\nand even punk.\n\nIn 1983 The Skatalites reunited to play Reggae Sunsplash in Montego Bay and subsequently in\nLondon at The Crystal Palace for the U.K version of the Sunsplash event. A few years later they\nbegan emigrating to the U.S.A and in 1986 the first US shows began at The Village Gate in NYC.\nThe band supported Bunny Wailer on The Liberation Tour in 1989 and followed it up in 1990\nembarking on their first-ever headline tour of The U.S.A. The Skatalites have not stopped\ntouring the world ever since and continue to be available for festivals\, casinos\, and intimate\nvenue settings. All of this\, paired with their undeniable chemistry and meshed with their now hometown Austin’s innovative creative sounds has led them to create the unique sonic movement that is The Animeros\, a name inspired by Colombian shamans who would usher lost souls to their peace. \n\n\nTheir journey took an unexpected turn when their music reached the ears of Dan Auerbach\, the Grammy Award winning producer\, songwriter\, and frontman of The Black Keys. Auerbach first heard them by chance\, music floating from an open hotel window that stopped him in his tracks. Captivated\, he made a note to track them down\, and within a year\, that chance encounter led to something bigger. DESCRIPTION:On a magical night at Nectar’s in Burlington\, Vermont in December of 2018\, three musical masters—Russ Lawton\, Scott Metzger and Ray Paczkowski—came together with alchemical synthesis\, and created a fresh\, so-tight-it’s-free sound\, permeated with technical prowess and a deep-pocket punch. The packed house fortunate enough to be in attendance that night witnessed the birth of something very special. The following spring\, the trio took the name LaMP by combining the first letters of each members’ surname\, and reconvened back in Vermont at Sugarhouse Soundworks for an intense recording session with sound engineer Roger Stauss laying down tracks that would become their eponymous debut EP. \nMetzger\, described by The Village Voice as “…an ace guitarist of a thousand styles\,” and a full-time member of the beloved Joe Russo’s Almost Dead\, tested the decades-strong synergy between Lawton and Paczkowski forged from their time playing with Trey Anastasio Band and their duo project Soule Monde. It resulted in seven tracks crackling with energy and soul. The melodic and harmonic interplay between Paczkowski’s swirling organ and clavinet dancing with Metzger’s acrobatic melodies on telecaster\, driven by Lawton’s unflappable backbeat\, produced a record that will stand the test of time. Ever since—as the three members busy schedules have allowed—LaMP has prioritized bringing the music to the people with shows across the East Coast. As word has spread and the crowds have grown with each subsequent tour\, it’s become clear that LaMP will be a musical force to be reckoned with for the foreseeable future.

His recent full-length\, is a Folk Artist\, helped solidify his\npresence as the kind of songwriter unafraid to tackle life’s most draining contradictions:\nmodern identity\, digital disconnection\, and faith. \nBorn to Evangelical missionaries\, Hudson started writing songs upon a radical break at\nthe age of thirteen when his family suddenly moved from the suburbs of Dallas to The\nKingdom of Eswatini. The profound influence of indie big-hitters like Sufjan Stevens and\nBon Iver as well as college years spent in Springfield\, Missouri made a do-it-yourself\nmidwesterner out of Hudson. Now\, his new song “If You Know Me” has recently started\ndrawing in attention from the masses\, catapulting Freeman into a wider spotlight than\never. Solemn yet hopeful\, into a pretty room occupies the space between moments of tragedy and triumph\, offering a touching rumination on grief and loss\, growing up and letting go. \nBilly Woodhouse and Elliot Dryden\, the core duo behind lots of hands\, first connected in a Newcastle school music program at age 16. At that point\, Woodhouse had been tinkering with lots of hands as a solo musical outlet\, self-releasing music on Soundcloud and quietly beginning work on 2020’s mistake. Shortly before that record’s release\, Dryden properly joined lots of hands\, an effort which was quickly thwarted by global circumstances outside of anyone’s purview. Separated by geography and global chaos\, Woodhouse and Dryden began work on lots of hands remotely\, exchanging demos online to craft what would become 2021’s largely instrumental there’s someone in this room just like you\, and 2023’s cult favorite fantasy. into a pretty room marks the duo’s first truly collaborative effort\, with Dryden often trekking the vast northern English countryside to write and record in Woodhouse’s bedroom studio. \nBetween pints of beer and rounds of Fortnite\, the two slowly chipped away at into a pretty room\, whose name is lifted from a pair of demos recorded and released in a short span across November of 2023. The earnest tenderness of these tracks — “into a pretty room” and “the rain”\, which appear newly re-recorded for the album — served as guiding light while the duo self-engineered the remainder of into a pretty room. Alongside these newly recorded songs appear Dryden’s unearthed demos\, mined and reworked by Woodhouse. Lead single “game of zeroes” puts Dryden front and center on a Hank Williams-inspired ode to coming up short. “I play a game of zeroes\,” he sings atop acoustic guitar\, piano and digital frills\, “Everyone but me will always win.” Elsewhere\, “masquerade” interrogates defense mechanisms through electronic-speckled indie folk that is both jaded and joyful. \nDryden’s tracks appear alongside Woodhouse’s own songs\, which span from touching instrumentals written for family\, meant to help usher them through a chapter of monumental loss\, to whispered ballads sung with loved ones. “All of my friends agree\, you’re in my head\,” Woodhouse intones alongside close collaborator and former roommate Mage Tears\, “in my head with me.” On the understated late album stunner\, “run your mouth\,” he imagines a lost one as “a bunch of stars\,” and ends the song fixated on “thoughts and memories of us.” Woodhouse’s contributions across into a pretty room ache with loss\, but settle gracefully into sparkling ambient sonics that propel the record on its trajectory of self-discovery and acceptance. “Death is just a word\, the feelings a reminder of past nights in the cold\,” he filters through pitch corrected vocals on “the rain\,” before sighing a resigned “oh well.” \nThese individually conceived tracks passed back and forth between the duo\, as they ventured into their first moments of writing in the same place at the same time. “backseat 30” is the duo’s first joint venture\, and the most immediate song in their discography\, transforming youthful anxieties into an explosive anthem. “I don’t wanna waste my life up\,” Woodhouse manifests atop layers of twangy and kinetic instrumentation\, “hitting the backseat 30\, talking with the dogs and the birdies\, getting my nails all dirty.” Early album centerpiece\, “barnyard\,” marks another proper collaboration on the record\, with Woodhouse and Dryden’s vocals intertwining and reflecting a quiet sadness as looped guitars swirl in a pool of sparkling instrumentation: “I’ll brush your hair through a nightmare\, breathing in the country air.” \nNewly relocated from Leeds to their current base of Newcastle-upon-Tyne\, lots of hands is anchored by the duo’s friendship\, which emanates across the album’s 14 tracks. As avid storytellers\, they draw inspiration from personal experiences\, balancing life’s foibles with ever-present youthful sanguinity. \nDogs formed when Jersey Shore native and guitar gun-slinger Jimmy Law began playing with family friend Joe Babick (drums) at a young age. Lightning struck when they were introduced to Berklee School of Music student and bass player Sam Lucid\, who immediately suggested fellow Berklee student and keyboard player Jeremy Kaplan.
