Born in Brockton\, MA\, and currently based in Western Massachusetts\, Michael’s musical journey began at the New School in New York City\, where he co-founded the groundbreaking band Moon Hooch. Known for their unique blend of jazz\, dance music\, and experimental hip-hop\, Moon Hooch quickly gained fame for their electrifying performances on New York City subway platforms before achieving international acclaim. In addition to his work with Moon Hooch\, Michael Wilbur is a co-founder of Thundersmack\, bringing his innovative sound to new heights. His solo projects showcase a broad range of genres\, defying traditional musical boundaries and captivating audiences worldwide.
